How much does babysitting cost?
Babysitting is $40 per hour, with a 2-hour minimum booking and no booking fee.
When is payment due?
Payment is invoiced after the babysitting service has been completed.
What areas do you service?
We provide babysitting across selected North Brisbane suburbs, with nearby areas considered on request.
What days are currently available?
Bookings are currently available Wednesday to Friday and Saturday mornings. Mondays and Tuesdays are currently fully booked.
What ages do you care for?
Care is available for children across a range of ages, with each booking tailored to the child’s routine, needs and stage of development.
Can you babysit more than one child?
Yes. Please include the number and ages of children in your enquiry so we can confirm the booking is suitable.
What can babysitting include?
Bookings may include supervision, play, reading, simple meals and snacks, bedtime routines, homework supervision and light tidying related to the children.
Can you help with bedtime?
Yes. We can follow your usual bedtime routine, including dinner, bath time, stories and settling children to sleep.
Do your babysitters have checks and qualifications?
Babysitters providing services through Nurture & Learn Co. hold current Blue Cards, First Aid certification and Police Clearances.
Can I arrange a regular booking?
Yes, regular weekly or fortnightly bookings may be available depending on current capacity.
Do you offer meet-and-greets?
A meet-and-greet may be arranged before a first booking if required, particularly for younger children or families wanting extra reassurance.
What if my child has allergies or medical needs?
Please provide all relevant information during the enquiry process so care can be planned safely and appropriately.
Can you prepare food for the children?
Yes, simple meals and snacks can be prepared where required, using food provided by the family.
Do you provide transport?
Transport is only provided where agreed in advance. Any car seat, pickup or travel requirements should be discussed before the booking is confirmed.
What happens if I come home later than expected?
Please let us know as soon as possible if you expect to be delayed. If the babysitter is available to stay longer, any additional time will be charged at the normal hourly rate. If they are unable to extend the booking, you will need to return as close as possible to the agreed finish time or arrange for another responsible adult to take over care.
What is your cancellation policy?
We ask families to provide as much notice as possible. Late or same-day cancellations may incur a cancellation fee where stated at the time of booking.
How do I make a booking?
Simply submit an enquiry through our website with your preferred date, times, suburb and children’s ages. We’ll confirm availability and booking details with you before the service is scheduled.
